16th March 2010 - The Farewell Cliffs

Here's come to one of my favorite place in South Island - The Waikoropupu Spring

The Maori name this pool (not big as a lake for me) Te Waikoropupu Springs (Wai stand for aqua/water), as the purest form of water reflected the physical source of life and in mental form it's represent the spiritual.
Indeed. With water human can alive, it is a sacred place for me as well~

A lot of science note to read, but I will do you a favor to summary it to: Water come from high mountain place and went through the marble level ground and finally transform it to the purest fresh water. So, the secret is the marble ground, study it if you are the geotechnical student, it may inspire you a great thesis one day ^.^

It's is truly nature, pure, and clean. It deserved everyone to fall in love to the great of nature

There don't have any signboard to encourage the visitor try the taste of the water, otherwise, I will drink once no doubt >.<

After the Te Waikoropupu Spring, we drove straight to the beach, oh ya, same name, but these time is the salt water.

As usual, we parked the car at the entrance and need to walk about 40mins to the beach
Along the path, the steep slope are both left and right side, no barricade, no handrail. Just mind your step and your way all the time. Most of the time, even the safest place can cause death if you never bear your mind when walking.

I need to hold my hat from the strong wind~

See the power of the wind here?
It transform all the stone to sand
Just like the environment people live with
Will somehow transform you to a creature you never know you can be in a day
So, choose wise on your living place

The last place today we are going to visit, the Cape Farewell
The most northern beach in South Island
There's a famous spit name Farewell Spit, extend from the shore to the sea
It's look alike the beak of the Kiwi bird, sharp and curve

Why are we here? To farewell Mong Han, as she will going back to M'sia soon on 19th March 2010, from Christchurch. Living is all about farewell and reunion ^.^

Wonderful scenic, like a paint of God to me

We all enjoy the view and scenic here until we totally forget we are actually came here for farewell =.=
So, we forget the group photo as well =.=ll

Accidentally I farewell my sun class over here, thanks to the strong wind >.<

After all, we still have 1 day to go for tomorrow trip at Punakaki, let's go~
